I am 32 years old, and I have been with the bodo team for 10 of them. I started in the company as a salesperson, then became the head of bodo retail — and now I have been the head of the sales department at bodotravel for 7 years.

About bodotravel

We — part of the bodo company: impressions as a gift. 

We are a leading tour operator that independently develops and organizes adventure group expeditions to the most amazing places on the planet: Antarctica, Namibia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Peru and others. All our trips are packed with experiences, from flying over Victoria Falls to swimming with whale sharks.

Our tours are not subject to seasonality, ensuring stability and a constant flow of customers all year round. Despite the war, many tourists are ready to travel, so we always have clients.

Working since 2015, we have implemented 247 expeditions, and we have big plans. And since September 2022, we have made 75 group trips, and we are already collecting groups for the fall of 2024 and the New Year. Photo reports and video reviews of all our trips can be viewed on the website.

What we have:

  • Guaranteed income for the first 2 months — 40,000 UAH/month, then the rate + bonuses for sales. There are no restrictions. The manager receives a fixed amount for each sale, as well as, subject to the fulfillment of the department's plan for recruiting tourists to the group, an additional bonus for each of his clients in the group.

Now about our requirements for the specialist I am looking for:

  1. Has experience from 2 years of active telephone sales.
  2. Has excellent telephone sales skills and negotiates confidently.
  3. Results oriented.
  4. Willing to study travel routes and keep in mind a large amount of information.
  5. Customer-oriented.
  6. Proactive, self-organized, responsible.
  7. Eager to learn and develop.
  8. Communicates competently and clearly.
  9. Loves traveling, watching travel bloggers and travel shows. We believe that such a manager is able to sell our tours with more enthusiasm.
  10. No bad habits (in particular IQOS, glo, disposables, vapes, etc.).

IMPORTANT: Everyone, including me, works in an office full-time. There is no remote work or hybrid schedule.

What you will do:

  1. Process applications from the site that tourists leave on our website through advertising.
  2. Call and communicate via messengers with the internal base of regular tourists, in order to maintain contact and sell travel places.
  3. Work with the customer base who have left requests on the website, but did not go on the trip for certain reasons, to offer them alternative group trips on other dates.
  4. Accept incoming calls and advise on our travel programs.
  5. Conclude contracts with clients and sell expeditions over the phone and at meetings.
  6. Maintain customer databases in the CRM system.
  7. Respond to incoming customer inquiries during non-working hours, if they relate to sales. This means:
  8. Provide answers to the client over the phone, if the manager has information.
  9. Notify the client that his request will be processed first at the beginning of the working day, if the manager does not have sufficient information.< /li>

About our hiring process

I personally analyze all reviews and conduct phone and offline interviews. I make decisions quickly and provide feedback (both the continuation of communication and its termination) immediately or the next day. I expect the same from the candidate.

Only a few days can pass between the response to the vacancy and receiving the job offer.

About the team

Our sales department currently consists of myself, the sales manager, and 1 manager. The number of our customers is constantly growing, so we have already begun to expand the department. This is a great opportunity for you to become part of our team at the stage of growth and active development of the team.

Lack of experience in travel or working in the tourism field does not mean that you will not be able to successfully sell our group expeditions. Your love for communication, dreams of traveling and the ability to prgiving back is what matters most.
