We provide technical processing of official statistics: we accept electronic reporting, check data, store them and prepare them for further analysis.
The team of the Central Statistical Office implements solutions for the automation of statistical processes and develops the IT architecture of state statistics in accordance with modern European approaches.
Now we are strengthening the change team and looking for an experienced manager of international direction and European integration projects, who will ensure systematic cooperation with EU institutions, international organizations and donors, and will also coordinate the implementation of European integration obligations within the body's competence.
Your role will have a strategic impact: you will create an environment where change projects are implemented transparently, effectively and in partnership with international organizations and donors.
Responsibilities
- Preparatory work on the organization and implementation of events within the framework of international cooperation, as well as coordination of work with relevant structural units.
- Development of proposals for improvement of the regulatory framework and coordination of international cooperation within the limits of authority.
- Management of activities related to European integration: strategic planning, priority setting, implementation control and ensuring results.
- Support and monitoring of international technical assistance projects aimed at the implementation of European standards and methodologies.
- Participation in international negotiations, working groups, intergovernmental commissions.
- Monitoring the fulfillment of international obligations and preparing regular reports.
Expectations from the candidate - Higher education (international relations, law, public administration, economics or related fields).
- Work experience in the field of international cooperation, European integration or implementation of international technical assistance projects on the part of the beneficiary body.
- Practical experience of interaction with EU institutions, international organizations or donors.
- Experience in team management and coordination of complex interdepartmental processes.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Fluent command of the English language (B2+)
- High level of diplomacy, systematicity and responsibility.
- Experience civil service.
Desired competencies
- Experience in attracting international funding.
- Knowledge of European Commission procedures and mechanismsEU aid programming.
- Experience in change management and transformation processes.
Work format
- Flexible schedule: 08:00—10:00—17:00—19:00 (with a lunch break).
- Willingness to be present in the office (Kyiv) is important, but there is also a partial possibility to work remotely.
