The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Protection"(Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and victims of war, people in need of international protection, stateless persons and groups at risk of statelessness. In order to implement activities and projects, more than 1,200 specialists of various specialties and areas of activity are involved in the Foundation's team. To organize and support their interaction, the Foundation needs structured, systematic, consistent and effective internal communications.
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
The position involves independent design, launch and development of the system of internal communications at the Foundation. The internal communications manager forms approaches, sets priorities and initiates decisions that ensure consistency of team actions, common understanding of the mission, strategic goals and changes in a large organization with a wide geography.
DUTIES AND LIABILITY
1. Strategy and system of internal communications
Conducting an analysis of the current state of internal communications in the Fund, identifying gaps, duplications and overloads of information and building their systematic work.
2. Information provision and content
Ensuring regular, transparent and understandable information to employees about the activities of the Fund.
Preparation and coordination of internal information content about news, results, key events and decisions.
Management of internal communication channels (email newsletters, messengers, internal meetings, online formats).
Support and development of internal information resources: knowledge base, directories, guides, internal pages.
3. Communication between teams and regions
Coordinating communications between management, program teams, support departments and regional offices.
Providing a unified information space for regional teams, taking into account their context and working conditions.
Supporting horizontal communications, exchange of experience and best practices between regional teams.
4. Engagement, culture and HR interaction
Participation in the development and implementation of the Fund's HR strategy in terms of internal communications.
Supporting engagement, motivation and a sense of common cause among employees.
Communication support for adaptation processes of new employees (onboarding): structure of the Foundation, processes, rules, values.
5. Changes, policies and sensitive topics
Communication support of information campaigns aimed at conveying strategic priorities, performance results, organizational changes, crisis situations and development of the Fund.
Ensuring clear communication of internal policies, procedures, codes and standards to employees.
Communication support of security topics, changes in operating rules and sensitive issues in interaction with management.
6. Management support
Preparation of internal information materials for management: key messages, explanatory materials, Q&A.
Consultative support for managers of various levels on issues of internal communications and interaction with teams.
7. Feedback and efficiency
Organization of systematic collection of feedback from employees regarding internal processes and information needs.
Analysis of the effectiveness of internal communications, preparation of recommendations for their improvement.
Monitoring of internal information flows and constant improvement of communication approaches.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Higher education;
2 years of experience in similar positions;
Experience building or restarting communications / processes.
Experience in humanitarian/charity organizations will be an advantage;
Ability to work without clear TK and independently fhandle requests;
Ability to communicate and negotiate with managers at different levels;
Systemic thinking and willingness to work with hands;
High motivation;
Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;
Fair treatment of all people without favoritism;
Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
