The purpose of the RANG Program is to promote "next generation" reforms that will enable the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) to become a modern, effective institution that will promote accountability and democratic development in Ukraine. The Program's activities are based on the fulfillment of three main goals:

  1. Increasing the level of voter involvement in the legislative process, including better and more systematic interaction between people's deputies and their voters, in particular individuals, civil society and business associations.
  2. Strengthening and expanding the analytical and control potential of the VRU to ensure a full legislative cycle.
  3. Increasing the level of efficiency and effectiveness performance by the VRU of its functions defined by the Constitution through the use of technological and innovative solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordination of partners and sub-grantees in close cooperation with program, financial and communication departments.
  • Management of the full cycle of grant management: announcement, evaluation of submitted applications, provision of technical and consulting support to grantees, reporting and closing of grants.
  • Conducting meetings and trainings for partners and sub-grantees of the related to the administration of subgrants/grants, terms of agreements and relevant rules of donors.
  • Providing advice on policies and procedures for project staff and grantees.
  • Reconciliation of agreements and contracts, analysis descriptive and financial reports of grant recipients.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, administration and management of grants and/or subcontracts.
  • Experience in international technical assistance projects, in particular USAID, will be an advantage.
  • Possesses organizational skills, has a structured approach to task management and coordinates the work of project teams.
  • Has a high level of command of the Ukrainian and English languages ​​- oral and written.
  • Has education in a relevant field (project management, political science, business administration, finance, accounting, international development, international relations, social sciences, economics or other related fields).
  • Advanced level of Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides and other MS Office products.
