Required professional competencies and skills: 

  • higher education in the field of social work, social sciences, social communications, development studies, public management and administration, etc.;
  • proven experience of working with communities or local self-government bodies or managing related projects with humanitarian aid, permanent development, local governance, decentralization, policy analysis and/or other relevant fields;

  • available experience in organizational and/or managerial work (head of sector/department; head of the institution, etc.);

  • strong communication and organizational skills;
  • ability to establish strong and effective working relationships with colleagues and partners; 
  • in

    high level of self-motivation to achieve results;

  • ability to adapt to changing circumstances and cope with stress.
  • fluency in Ukrainian, English will be an advantage;

  • good skills in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online videoconferencing tools (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.); international humanitarian standards.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • implementation of new areas of activity Center in communities (children's spaces, sensory rooms, opening of a new location, shelter): search for premises, arrangement and filling, etc.;
  • implementation and organization of mobile community work: organization of social cohesion events, trainings, social integration activities;
  • coordination and control over the organization of the provision of social services, in particular in new directions (in communities);
  • organization of the work of specialists in new locations: planning trips, reporting, etc.;
  • cooperation with local administrations in the direction of cohesion, coordination of the work of initiative groups in communities;
  • adherence to SOS CV policies and procedures, as well as international humanitarian standards and principles;
  • regular reporting to management on activities works.
