Machine Learning Engineer in L&F

We are looking for an ML Engineer (Interim) to support our Data Science team in building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade AI/ML solutions. The focus is on translating business requirements into scalable ML implementations and building feature engineering pipelines integrated into the data platform.

Team

You’ll work with a team of Data Scientists delivering models for core business use cases such as default risk, churn, fraud detection, and cross/upsell. We work in 2-week sprints and collaborate closely with Data Engineering.

What you’ll do

• Build, deploy, and maintain ML solutions in production (end-to-end lifecycle)
• Define technical requirements and implement scalable ML architectures
• Create and maintain feature engineering pipelines (Snowflake + dbt or equivalent)
• Partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to ensure measurable business impact
• Improve MLOps practices: monitoring, CI/CD, automated retraining, reliability

Must-have

• Proven experience delivering production ML end-to-end (preprocessing > feature engineering > training > deployment > monitoring/retraining)
• Hands-on with Azure ML Studio (or equivalent: SageMaker / Vertex AI)
• Strong Snowflake + dbt (or equivalent modern data stack)
• Advanced Python (ML frameworks) and SQL
• Good understanding of Git + CI/CD within an MLOps setup
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Nice to have

• Network/cloud fundamentals (VNETs, Private Endpoints)
• Model-serving APIs (FastAPI / Flask)
