Job Description: We are looking for a strong Linux Kernel Developer with extensive experience in BSP (Board Support Package) and Linux driver development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux kernel programming, proficiency with developing and optimizing BSPs, and a solid understanding of Linux driver development. As part of our team, you will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of software for our cutting-edge UAV platforms. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel modules and device drivers.
  • Develop and optimize BSPs for embedded systems.
  • Work with Linux-based systems for software development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug kernel and driver issues.
  • Optimize software performance and ensure high quality and reliability of systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Linux kernel development with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Extensive experience with BSP development and Linux driver development.
  • Proficient in Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in developing software for embedded systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in UAV or aerospace industries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for embedded systems.
