We invite you to our team Linux / FreeBSD system engineer

What tasks:

• Support and configuration of Linux/FreeBSD virtual and physical servers and Proxmox hypervisors, to ensure smooth operation;
• Maintain the OS and software in an up-to-date state;
• Maintain the hardware part of the servers in a satisfactory working condition state?;
• Write scripts to automate processes (Python/Bash);
• Make appropriate changes to accounting systems and documentation;
• Process tickets that have been submitted according to the level of escalation.

What is needed for this :

• Probably working with Linux, FreeBSD family OS, reading logs and working with software and hardware RAID-arrays ?;
• Good understanding of how the network works, routing, switching, ability to read traffic dump. Know OSI models?;
• Be able to work with physical servers and their separate components, disk arrays, perform initial diagnostics?;
• Be able to work with version control systems?;
• li>Read Python scripts?;
• Have English at the level of reading and writing (preferably B1);
• Be able to independently solve problems that you have not encountered before;
• The desire to grow professionally.

The advantage will be:

• Ability to work with loaded and distributed systems?;
• Skills in working with IPTV equipment, CATV, DVB-S, DVB-C?;
• Skills in working with telephony and mail.
