Main responsibilities:
- Administration of Linux systems: Management and support of Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat), ensuring optimal performance, security and availability.
- Monitoring and responding to incidents: Monitoring the performance of systems, responding to incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and malware.
- Penetration testing: Conducting monthly penetration tests of our server infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Reporting and Recommendations: Analyze test results and compile detailed reports with recommendations for improving cybersecurity.
- Backup: Regularly back up systems and ensure data integrity.
- CI/CD and automation: Working with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and automation tools (Ansible).
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems with network, storage and security infrastructure.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and users on Linux related issues.
- Infrastructure Management: Involvement in building, deploying and automating infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience as a Linux Administrator/DevOps specialist.
- Knowledge of Linux: Deep understanding of Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and their distributions.
- Knowledge of networks: Knowledge of network protocols/services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Security expertise: Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures on Linux systems.
- Penetration testing skills: Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit etc).
- Virtualization and cloud technologies: Experience with virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS).
- CI/CD and Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and automation tools (such as Ansible).
- Monitoring tools: Experience installing and configuring monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Scripts: Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automating tasks.
- Troubleshooting: High level of technical problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively in a team.
- Language: Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.
- Certifications: Having relevant certifications (eg Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE) will be a plus.
