Legal analyst (administrative law) in UN Volunteers

A legal analyst is appointed to work at the UNESCO Office in Kyiv for the purpose of providing expert assistance and advice on local regulations, primarily in the field of construction and of international technical assistance.??

Legal analyst who will be hired locally and will work remotely, will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to the activities of the Bureau by conducting legal research, legal consultations, preparation and evaluation of documents, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance of various types of UNESCO activities in Ukraine.??

The legal analyst will work under the direct supervision of the head of the Bureau, closely cooperating with the Headquarters, relevant sectors and employees and UNESCO consultants working in Kyiv and other cities, if necessary.

Requirements for candidates:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field law, working with regulatory research, compliance or enforcement of national regulations or related disputes.
• Experience in construction-related fields, especially in the field of reconstruction and/or public works
• Master's degree or equivalent in the field of administrative and economic law
• Ukrainian, fluent, mandatory
• English, working level, mandatory
