Leading specialist of the Civil-Military Cooperation Project Support Sector of the Access and Civil-Military Cooperation Division in Red Cross Ukraine

Responsibilities: 

• Interaction with regional/local military administration, bodies of civil-military cooperation and military administration, law enforcement agencies, other central bodies of executive power, that lead military formations on certain measures necessary for the effective operation of the Department;
• Preparation of presentation and reporting material on the activities of the Department and the Department;
• Planning of activities and events on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis basis;

• Providing feedback regarding any changes within the framework of the tasks defined by the project activity (cancellation of planned activities and reasons, change of date, change of contact information, etc.);
• Promoting the development and improvement of thematic\information materials in the direction of military-civilian cooperation; 
• Cooperation with local military formations and local authorities on holding joint events on the territory of designated regions;
• Participation in the organization of writing eventsmemoranda/project agreements/contracts, etc. and participation in accompanying measures to ensure their conclusion between the specified parties; military formations formed in accordance with the laws, law enforcement agencies and public associations on the treatment of defenders of Ukraine; Additional Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to reporting requirements by keeping track of daily activities, entering information into appropriate data collection tools and as directed by supervisor ;
  • Assist the Head of the Department and departments in current activities;
  • Cooperation with regional and local organizations of the TCHHU;
  • Cooperation with external organizations to promote development in the direction military-civilian cooperation;

  Requirements:

  • Higher education (humanitarian, psychological, project management).
  • Additional education in the relevant direction will be an advantage
  • Minimum two years of experience working in humanitarian organizations is desirable.
  • Minimum two years of experience in interaction with military formations is desirable.
  • Skills in conducting educational trainings and presentations.
  • Skills in working with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, working with databases, e-mail).
  • Skills in creating presentations using Canva, Power software Point.
  • Negotiation/cooperation skills.
  • Knowledge and skills in project management (drafting project applications, budgets, reports).
  • Skills in preparation and support project activity will be a plus
  • Driver's license (category B) will be a plus
  • Compulsory command of Ukrainian and English languages
