Leading engineer in Smiddle

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Lead Engineer for infrastructure projects to join our team and become a key figure in the implementation of complex IT projects.

Responsibilities:

Design and development of architectural solutions:

• Development of High-Level Design (HLD) for various infrastructure solutions.
• Choice of optimal equipment and software for project implementation.
• Creation of technical documentation.

Infrastructure implementation and support:

• Installation, configuration and integration of servers, disk arrays, data storage systems, operating systems, hypervisors and backup management systems.
• Configuration of network components and ensuring their uninterrupted operation.
• Monitoring and optimization infrastructure performance.

Solving incidents and problems:

• Rapid identification and elimination of problems arising in the infrastructure.< /li>
• Analysis of the causes of incidents and development of measures to prevent them.

Interaction with clients and the team:

• Consulting clients on infrastructure issues.
• Cooperation with other teams (developers, testers, etc.) to ensure the successful implementation of projects.

Requirements for the candidate:

Education: Higher technical education (IT, telecommunications or other relevant).

Work experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with various operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with data storage systems (SAN, NAS).
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Knowledge and skills:

• In-depth knowledge of server technologies (x86, ARM), data storage systems (SAN, NAS) , virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), network technologies (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing).
• Understanding the principles of information security.
• English language at a level sufficient to work with technical documentation.
