We are looking for a mature candidate for the position of Advanced VoIP Engineer to join a project with a Ukrainian telecom operator.

Requirements:

  • Administration and operation: Oracle SBC (vSBC) (A-SBC / I-SBC).
  • Administration and operation: Oracle Linux (cockpit / iptables / KVM / updates).
  • VoIP protocols: H.323, SIP/SIP-I/SIP-T, MGCP, SIGTRAN, GSM/UMTS.
  • Knowledge of Oracle OCOM / SDM.
  • Monitoring protocols: SNMP, HDR.
  • Number matching and translation rules (HMR)
  • Support for telephony networks — L1/L2 support.
  • Studying emerging problems in the laboratory. PoC creation.
  • Python Scripting (task and process automation).
  • Knowledge of PBX systems like Asterisk.
  • Knowledge of Radius and Diameter protocols.
  • Writing project documentation — HLD/LLD/NMP/ATP.
  • Knowledge/understanding of IMS/NGN architecture.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs for custom configuration and KPI monitoring.
  • Security and protection: IPSEC / TLS / SRTP / DDOS.
  • Media and signaling validation to prevent service theft and fraud.
  • CCNP/CCSP level will be a plus.
  • English (reading, writing)

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in implementation and migration projects.
  • Audit of existing solutions.
  • Preparation of HLD/LLD/NMP/ATP documentation.
  • Participation in technical meetings with the Customer.
  • Maintenance, and support during and after implementation.
  • Responding to Customers’ support requests and resolving them in coordination with vendors.
  • Creation of PoCs to test technical solutions and concepts.
  • Participation in pre-sale activities in the VoIP domain.
  • Passing the necessary exams to maintain partner status.
  • Reporting on work done and current tasks.
