Lead Software Engineer, Full-Stack - Remote (USA Based Company) in Enterprise Peak

You bring deep expertise and a prior history in designing and building software applications with a focus on user experience. You feel very comfortable operating in an environment where you will be the sole software engineer working in a full-stack environment.You are passionate about mentoring junior developers and are eager to guide those with limited experience. Your ideal environment involves asking questions, proposing new ideas, researching cutting-edge tools, and working closely with end-users. We are only considering candidates in Ukraine and this is a full-time, long-term, service-based contract.Key Responsibilities:Manage, lead, and own the full software development lifecycle for a variety of custom in-house projects and development initiativesRegularly meet with management and end-users to elicit suggestions, feedback, and ideas for further development of main software toolsLead design sessions for new software functionalities and toolsMaintain our Google Chrome add-on, data ingestion tool, and legacy components (Python/Vue.js/Express)Job Requirements:This role would be ideal for a seasoned software engineering professional who has worked in medium to large scale development environments, and is ready to move into an entrepreneurial setting.5-10 years of professional software development experience, ideally building new web applications and productsEnglish proficiency (C1 or C2) is required for this position.Must have deep expertise in React and Node.js.Full-stack, heavy focus on front-endExperience with other JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.) desiredMust have expertise in responsive design of web applicationsMust have deep expertise in creating UI/UX storyboards and constructing workflowsExperience with web app development with HTML5, CSS, and WebSocketExperience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL database is requiredExperience with TypeScriptWeb API test experience (Postman or similar) is requiredEXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills absolutely requiredfor this role.Additional Information:As a fully remote Lead Software Engineer, you will have access to the necessary tools and technologies to carry out your responsibilities effectively.
