We are establishing an R&D center in Kyiv, and are looking for top talents to join our team.

As a Lead QA Automation Engineer in the Payment team, you’ll be part of the professional team to develop complex distributed systems in high-load environments that provide multiple solutions to various consumers utilizing the modern toolset and microservice architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to QA automation team members;
• Design, develop, and continuously improve test automation framework
• Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the overall QA goals and objectives of the organization
• Participate in code reviews by reviewing pull requests related to automation code. Provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and efficiency of automated test scripts
• Integrate automated tests seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline to enable efficient and reliable software delivery
• Create and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated tests, covering both backend and frontend components
• Analysis of automated test results, promptly identifying and reporting deviations or issues
• Gather statistics and report on achieved automation coverage and efficiency
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to prioritize and resolve identified defects
• Assess, decompose, and assign to managed team automation-related activities
• Maintain clear and organized comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, tools, and processes. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

• Share knowledge and expertise with team members to promote a culture of continuous learning

   

  REQUIREMENTS

   

• 5+ years in a QA Automation role, and at least 2 years on a lead position
• Experience of creating a test automation framework from scratch
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Ability to define a test automation strategy
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Selenide, JUnit, etc.
• Proficient knowledge of REST API
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and seamlessly integrating automated tests into the build and deployment pipeline
• Experience with databases (SQL Server, MongoDB)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the development team effectively and with stakeholders
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers

• Good understanding of QA processes and SDLC including agile methodologies
