Position Overview: We seek a skilled and experienced SDN Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, Python programming, database management, and cloud-native technologies. The role requires a deep understanding of Network practices, agile project methodologies, and excellent problem-solving skills.Main Tasks And ResponsibilitiesWork in a team of 5 SDN engineers (Ukrainian time zone)Contribute to SDN solution architectureEnhance and maintain the existing SDN frameworkUse SDN framework for 3rd-party network components migrationEducation, Skills And Experience MUST HAVE:RequiredProgramming: Strong experience in Python.Data Modelling: Proficient in YANG, JSON, REST, YAML, and Netconf.Confident understanding of SDN, NSO and L2-L3 conceptWould Be a PlusNice to have:Expertise in Lumen Network landscape.Database Management: Hands-on experience with Redis, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.Streaming & Messaging: Proficiency in KAFKA and RabbitMQ.DevOps Tools: Expertise in Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure pipelines.Automation & Testing: Skilled in Robot Framework, Ansible, and Postman.Cloud-Native Technologies: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile projects, understanding the Agile mode, DevOps practices, and SDLC process.Linux Skills: Excellent Linux skills for system administration and troubleshooting.Networking: Understanding of NSO, SDN, and basic L2-L3 networking concepts.
