Lead IOS Developer (Gambling/Betting/Utilities) in SoftTeam

SoftTeam is seeking a Lead iOS Developer for our internal project, SmartApps, which focuses on developing iOS applications for Affiliate Marketing in the Gambling, Betting, and Utilities niches.
 

Location: Remote, with potential for hybrid or onsite work in one of our offices in Ukraine or Poland after 1-3 months of successful cooperation. 

Role: We are looking for an experienced leader with expertise in the Gambling, Betting, and Utilities niches and a proven track record in team management. The role involves developing unique iOS applications and managing a development team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in iOS development.
• Experience with applications in Gambling, Betting, and Utilities.
• Knowledge of Apple’s guidelines and requirements for apps.
• Practical experience in optimizing development workflows (including automation of development/testing processes, rapid refactoring, and module template creation).
• Experience with at least two of the following stacks: Flutter, React Native, Swift, Unity.
• Ability to deliver more than 12 mobile applications per month (minimum KPI for such applications).
• At least 1 year of experience as a team lead in development.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Proactive and independent work approach.
• Ability to conduct research in relevant verticals (finding examples of games, palettes, assets, and applications).
   

Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Involvement in recruiting, selecting, and onboarding developers (preparing tests, onboarding materials, and overseeing the process). Managing the development team, including training and resolving blockers.
• Application Development: Either independently developing applications or creating templates and foundations for the team.
• Process Improvement and Automation: Continuously implementing improvements in the team’s workflow at all stages, beyond standard tasks.
   

Workflow of development team: The work involves handling development orders from our internal task board, which is updated 2 to 4 times a month. Each order comes with a brief detailing functionality, thematic guidelines, design and additional implementation details. Completed applications are tested by a responsible manager and sent for Apple Store moderation. Applications may require refactoring based on Apple Store moderation feedback.
 

Tools: All work is managed using the task tracking system ClickUp.
 

Work Format: Remote initially, with the potential for hybrid or onsite work in our offices within 1-3 months of successful performance.
 

Compensation: Base salary plus bonuses based on personal and team KPIs.
