Laundry Attendant in Ramada Hotel

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual is responsible for turning over large quantities of hotel laundry every day plus doing linen for other departments.  This position involves physical labour and time management.

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:  
Operating washing machines, dryers and the mangler
Sorting laundry into proper size loads
Laundering the restaurants napkins
Laundering rags
Laundering banquet linen
Laundering hotel guest-room linen
Cleaning laundry room
Taking linen to maids closets
Taking glassware to carts/floors
Pre-treating stained laundry
Stripping rooms ahead of room attendants
Folding all laundry
Other assigned tasks from management

CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION:  Evaluated on
Quality and quantity of work
Ability to work without supervision
Reliability
Ability to resolve stained linen issues
Ability to determine needs of department based on room attendant performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hard working, reliable and punctual
Can do repetitive tasks daily
Great attention to detail
Motivated, self starter
