Junior Web Developer / Trainee in VisionWorks Productions

Now we are faced with the task of scaling and completely transforming the interface. And we need someone who doesn't just write code, but builds a product that talks to the user. If you know how to see behind the API and CSS of the end user who comes to the site, and are ready to learn to write clean, fast and high-quality code - we will invest all our knowledge in you. You will not just "fix bugs", you will create new functionality from scratch.

Experience: We will consider candidates with no experience, students or with minimal experience (from 3 months) on commercial/personal projects.
Salary: From 30,000 to 35,000 UAH + bonuses for successful completion of the trial period and closing sprints.
Schedule: Five days (Mon–Fri), 8 working hours (from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - we discuss).
Format: Office, Kyiv or Hybrid (with the possibility of remote work after the internship).

 Areas of Responsibility Junior Web Developer (Duties)

Your working day will be as full as possible for rapid development:

Morning Block (09:00 - 13:00):

1. 09:00 - Quick 15-minute discussion of the day's tasks with the team.

2. Bugfixing and Refactoring: Fixing simple errors in existing code to understand its structure.

3. Development of UI elements: Coding of simple frontend components (buttons, forms, menus) under supervision Senior.

Day Block (14:00 – 17:00):

1. Implementation of API methods: Work on the backend – implementation of simple queries to the database, creation of endpoints for new functionality.

2. Training and Code Review: Receiving detailed feedback on your code and studying the code more experienced colleagues.

3. Unit-testing: Writing simple tests for your code that guarantee its correct operation.

Evening Block (17:00 - 18:00):

1. Documentation: Updating technical documentation and internal Wiki.

2. Commit: Final push code to the repository and fill out the reporting in Jira.
