Responsibilities
- Supporting the continuous operation and high availability of local IT infrastructure
- Setting up accounts and workstations
- Helpdesk: Supporting users with their issues, problems, and questions
- Troubleshooting issues and outages
- Maintaining network cabling
- Upgrading and patching systems with new releases
- Keeping technical documentation up to date
- Following the company’s security and compliance policies and procedures
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in maintaining an environment with 20+ computers, including diagnostics and component replacement
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11
- Knowledge of macOS and Linux
- Basic knowledge of network technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, FTP, proxy, TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, group policies)
- Administration skills for Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
- Excellent understanding of computer hardware
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products using documentation and internet resources
- Good communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with internal customers
- Ability to take initiative, work well in a team, and multitask effectively
