Junior QA Engineer - Gidno in KOHANSTUDIO

Public organization Gidno engaged in anti-corruption analytics and support for digitization of public services in Ukraine is looking for aJunior QA Engineer for projects related to the creation and change of state registers of Ukraine.

Main duties:

• Testing the functionality, usability and performance of services and registers .
• Development of test cases, checklists and test scenarios based on product requirements.
• Manual testing of web applications, APIs and databases.
• Identification, documentation and tracking of defects in systems using tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts and other team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in creating test documentation and improvement recommendations product.

Requirements:

• Experience as a manual tester from 1 year.
• Understanding the principles of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and the role of testing in this process.
• Knowledge of basic testing techniques: positive, negative, regression, integration testing.
• Experience with test management systems (eg TestRail, Zephyr).< /li>
• Basic understanding of working with APIs and testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
• Preferred: experience with BPMS such as Camunda or knowledge of BPMN 2.0.
• Understanding of working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) at the basic level (SELECT, JOIN queries).
• Skills in analyzing logs and working with monitoring systems (for example, Kibana).< /li>

Desired knowledge and experience (will be a plus):

• Understanding the specifics of the work of the public sector, in particular:
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of the functioning of state registers bodies.
  • Basic knowledge of FOP (individual entrepreneurs), legal entities and interaction with state registers.
  • Understanding the processes of business registration and reporting.
  • Knowledge of what a qualified electronic signature (QES) is and its use in government services.
• Experience in testing government or financial services.
