Junior  QA Engineer

Job description:
The company "KB Logic", which specializes in the development of software for training simulators (civilian and military), needs a full-time Junior QA Engineer.

Main responsibilities:

• Testing software for simulators;

• Testing physical models/mockups;

• Analyzing technical documentation and product requirements;

• Setting up the test environment;

• Writing test cases, checklists, instructions;

• Filing bug-reports in GitLab;

• Reporting hardware problems in Microsoft Planner;

• Interaction with other departments regarding detected defects.

Needed skills:

• Understanding the software development life cycle and the testing process;

• Experience in testing Windows applications (gaming applications - an advantage);

• Skills in developing test documentation and writing bug-reports;

• Ability to work with log files and localize the problem;

• Experience in working with GitLab or similar systems tracking bugs;

• Ability to learn quickly, work in a team, communication;

• Basic understanding of technical documentation, principles of operation of various equipment (wheeled, tracked, aircraft, etc.);

• Attention to details, analytical thinking;
• Desire to learn and develop in the field of QA.
