Junior Python Developer (We will consider candidates without experience - we will teach everything necessary) in EquaMind Center

We are a team that creates modern web services, internal tools and process automation. We work with APIs, integrations, databases and Python scripting.
In connection with the expansion, we are looking for a Junior Python Developer who wants to develop in backend development, write clean code and work on real projects.

We will consider candidates with no experience or minimal commercial experience, as well as students.

Duties
1. Development and support of Python services

• Writing modules and scripts for project tasks.

• Creation of server logic, API endpoints, request processing.

• Optimization of existing scripts and internal tools.

2. Working with databases

• Writing, reading and processing information in SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Optimization of simple queries.

• Participation in creating data structures for new modules.

3. Integrations and automation

• Working with third-party APIs.

• Writing automated actions for internal systems.

• Developing small utilities for the team.

4. Testing and debugging

• Checking functionality before release.

• Finding errors, documenting and correcting them.

• Writing simple unit tests (we will teach if necessary).

5. Documentation

• Description of the logic of the modules.

• Maintaining technical documentation in an up-to-date state.

• Preparation of brief instructions for the team.

6. Collaboration with the team

• Work together with developers, analysts and testers.

• Execution of tasks within the framework of Agile processes.

• Participation in decision discussions and brainstorming.

Requirements

• Basic or intermediate knowledge of Python levels.

• Understanding OOP, data structures, loops, functions.

• Basic knowledge of Django / Flask / FastAPI is desirable, but not necessary.

• Understanding API and JSON working principles.

• Ability to work with Git.

• Willingness to learn, accuracy in code, attention to details.

• We will consider candidates without experience or students.

Will be a plus:

• SQL skills.

• Experience in any pet projects or GitHub repository.

• Knowledge of Docker, Celery, Redis is an advantage, but not requirement.

• Salary 33,000 – 38,000 UAH

• Full time, schedule 9:30–19:00, Mon–Fri
