Junior Python Developer in Test (Server) in Ajax Systems

This is a whole ecosystem of 135 devices, mobile and desktop applications, server infrastructure. R&D is responsible for device development at Ajax, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA.

p>Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems accompanies the product both at the development stage and in the process of production and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and floods.

We are looking for a new player to the Server automation team.

The server part is invisible to the end user, but critical to the life of the entire system. At the same time, we support more than a million simultaneous connections and this number is growing rapidly. We are constantly adding new functionality and increasing the stability of our cloud application. To maintain the quality and stability of the system, we are looking for a Python Developer in Test.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Python knowledge level - junior;
• Technical background;
• Knowledge of OOP;

• A systematic approach to writing code;
• Experience work with PyTest, Asyncio, Git;
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis);
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux OS.

Will be a plus:

• Know and use testing approaches and methodologies;
• Experience with gRPC, Docker;

• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD server;
• Experience with Jira, Test Rail;
• Understanding and practical application of the principles of asynchronous and parallel programming;
• Experience with front/back frameworks;
• Experience with TCP level protocols.

Tasks:

• Design and development of parts of the ecosystem autotests;
• Analysis of technical documentation;
• Analysis of test results;
• Working with low-level binary protocols.
