Junior PHP Developer (WordPress) in QATestLab

We expect you to:

• have at least 1 year of commercial development experience in PHP 7+ / 8.x and a basic understanding of OOP and programming patterns;
• you work with WordPress: you understand the system of hooks (actions, filters), the structure of themes and plugins, you can create shortcodes, widgets and templates;
• you know HTML5, CSS and basic JavaScript (Vanilla). Knowledge of jQuery will be a plus.
• you can write simple SQL queries to interact with the database;
• you have skills in working with Git: creating branches, working with pool requests, participating in code reviews.

Main duties:

• technical support and maintenance of corporate sites on WordPress;
• layout and adaptation of pages according to design layouts (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript);
• writing SQL queries for working with the site database;
• working in the Git version control system;
• developing and finalizing themes and plugins: work with hooks, shortcodes, widgets; active teamwork, participation in code reviews and discussions.
