Junior/Middle Data Scientist (Computer Vision / ML) in EVA – liniya magaziniv

Our Data Science team is growing and we are currently looking for a Junior/Middle Data Scientist who wants to work with real-world problems, develop in Computer Vision and classical Machine Learning and see the result of their work in production. 

What you will work on:

• building, implementing and supporting ML models in production (with mentoring); 
• computer vision tasks (image classification, detection, segmentation); 
• classic tasks of Data Science: classification, regression, prediction of time series; data preparation and processing (images + tabular data); 
• participation in improving the quality of data and pipelines; 
• analysis of model results and basic assessment of their business effect; 
• interaction with the team and gradual immersion in communication with the business. 

What is important for us:

• from 1 year of commercial experience in Data Science / Machine Learning; 
• experience working with Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch / TensorFlow); 
• basic knowledge of Computer Vision; 
• understanding of classic ML algorithms (decision trees, linear models, boosting, etc.); 
• experience with SQL (basic queries, joins); 
• understanding the basics of ML lifecycle (data preparation, training, validation); 
• desire to learn and develop. 
   

Will be a plus:

• experience in Computer Vision tasks (even in educational or pet projects); 
• experience in E-commerce / Retail; 
• familiarity with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS / GCP);
• experience with neural networks; 
• experience working with large datasets.
