Our fast-growing and professional team is looking for a Junior Manual Test Engineer who will join to the development of new bespoke white label application to manage Health Savings accounts for its clients. Our client is one of the most well-known and funded startups in its industry, based in the United States. The project goal is to build and set up new scalable product and increase time to market for the system.The team is responsible for all aspects of building the product, from ideation to creation. Cloud-native architecture with Agile product development practices are used within the project.Requirements:1+ year of experience in Software TestingBasic understanding of the SDLC and development methodologiesBasic understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience in writing clear, concise test scenariosExperience with Test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr)Experience with SQL databases on the basic level (SELECTs and conditions)Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English, ability to articulate and communicate clearly complex topics.Will be a PlusCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsYou are a team playerExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBasic understanding of API TestingWillingness to work in an Agile environment with a collaborative team Higher Education: Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for the Java-based product.Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.Review and understand product requirements and design specifications to develop effective test cases.Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.Assist in the creation and maintenance of QA documentation and best practices.Support the QA team in manual testing for different stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Work cloliaise with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure product quality.
