Junior Manual QA Engineer (Back-end) in Ajax Systems

R&D is responsible for device development at Ajax, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA.

p>Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems accompanies the product both at the development stage and in the process of production and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and floods.

To maintain the quality and stability of the system, we are lookingJunior Manual Quality Assurance Engineer.

Needed skills:

• Excellent knowledge of testing theory;
• Knowledge of the client - server architecture; 
• Knowledge of API and its testing methods;
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB);
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems;
• Ability qualitatively analyze requirements (static testing) and decompose them into test documentation.

Tasks:

• Functional and non-functional testing;
• Working with various protocols: low-level binaries, API and gRPC framework;
• Writing test documentation;
• Supporting programmers during development.

Will be a plus:

• Understanding metrics and experience work with DataDog, Grafana;
• Performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others);
• Experience with Docker, AWS;
• Understanding embedded systems.< /li>
