Junior manual QA engineer in Room15 Digital

Hello! We Room15 Digital are a company that specializes in developing websites from an idea to a full-fledged product with traffic.

We are currently expanding and looking for a capable Junior Manual QA to join our team.

What we expect from the candidate:

• From 1 year experience testing cross-browser web applications;
• Understanding of development processes and software life cycle (SDLC, STLC);
• Basic knowledge and understanding theories, principles and methods of testing;
• Experience writing test documentation, tests and bug reports;
• Experience with Devtools (console, network traffic, application tabs);
• Understanding client-server architecture;
• Understanding MVC software design pattern;
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS;
• Basic understanding of Cookies, Session and Local Storage ;
• Basic understanding of API and its testing methods;
• Basic understanding of web technologies: HTTP, XML and JSON;
• Knowledge of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) ;
• English at B1 level.

 What you will do:

• Web testing of product functionality (frontend + backend testing);
• Maintenance of test documentation (Test Plan, Test Report);
• Creation of checklists and test cases in accordance with the documentation of the test plan and product requirements (Checklists, Test Cases);
• Performance of testing, analysis of test results;
• Identification, recording and tracking of errors (Bug Reports) ;
• Execution of backend tests (working with API, Logs);
• Cooperation with all members of the development team (PM, Developers, Designers).

experience would be an advantage with:

• Experience with Jira, Figma;
• SEO testing experience;
• Basic knowledge of JS/TS;
• Work experience with Charles or other traffic detection tools;
• Experience testing APIs (eg Swagger and Postman or similar tools/frameworks);
• Unix terminal (curl, ssh, git).< /li>
