Junior Java Developer in VARTEQ

We’re hiring a Junior Java Developer with enterprise experience to join a team working on a student performance platform for one of the largest online education companies in the U.S. The system aggregates and visualizes educational data to support smarter decisions in schools.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Java in enterprise-level applications
• Solid understanding of Struts and JSP
• Familiarity with MSSQL
• Experience using Maven for build and dependency management
• English: Intermediate level or higher

Project Tech Stack

• Java 17, Maven, MSSQL, Struts 1.3, JSP

Responsibilities

• Implement and support features within a large enterprise codebase
• Maintain and refactor legacy modules where needed
• Integrate with MSSQL databases and support business logic
• Follow Agile development process in a distributed team
