About the job

You will provide HR management support in accordance with DRB policies and procedures. Under the direct supervision of the Group Head of Human Resources and Administration and with the technical support of the Country Human Resources Manager, you will ensure the effective implementation of HR tasks in the regional office.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining personnel documentation, assisting with Code of Conduct issues, and advising employees on HR issues.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Assist management and staff with human resources issues and concerns.
  • Provide support to the regional office recruitment process, including job posting, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and conducting relevant documentation.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance of personnel documentation with legislation in the field of labor law and personal data protection. Interact with the Head Office of the DRB to ensure timely and accurate documentation turnover.
  • Help to carry out the recruitment, transfer and dismissal of employees in accordance with labor legislation, regulations, instructions, as well as the orders of the Head of the Representative Office.
  • Help to form and manage personal files of employees, ensure timely sending of personal files to the regional office of the DRB.
  • Help to ensure compliance with the rules for the use of vacations by all DRB employees in the area of responsibility, prepare internal orders and send them for archiving to the regional office of DRB.
  • Enter HR data into data management systems, including hiring, termination and renewal of employee contracts, review of leave requests and approvals, benefits and compensation.
  • Prepare time sheets twice a month for all employees in the area of ​​responsibility and provide dnor personnel management necessary for payroll
  • Monitor that the performance evaluation process is conducted and that the employee has opportunities for training and development.
  • Provide timely information on personnel-related changes in the area of responsibility to DRB Head Office.
  • Assist or drive employee welfare initiatives.

About you:

To be successful in this position, we expect you to have at least 1 year of experience in human resources management, administration, recruitment or a related field. In addition, we also expect the following from you:

Required

  • Higher education in Human Resource Management and Labor Economics, Law, Social Sciences or a related major.
  • Knowledge of labor law.
  • Practical experience in personnel administration (preparation and processing of recruitment, extension of contracts, transfers and dismissal, keeping records of employees and personal affairs, etc.).
  • Fluent written and spoken Ukrainian language.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook office programs.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.

Desirable

  • Intermediate level of English language proficiency (speaking/reading/writing).
  • Experience with HR and data management systems.

  • Salary and conditions according to the Conditions of Employment of national staff of the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine.
