We are currently looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to develop our platform based on AWS and Kubernetes services, using tools that implement an IaC and GitOps approach. We are migrating from an infrastructure team paradigm to a platform team. We're creating a framework to empower engineers from other teams to do some infrastructure-related work themselves.

This job is for you if you want to:

• Work with a modern technology stack - AWS (EKS, Loadbalancers, Cloudfront, Route53, Lambda, RDS, etc.); languages: Python, Golang; IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt); CI/CD: Jenkins, Github Actions; DBs: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB; messaging systems: RabbitMQ, Kafka; monitoring: Prometheus Stack, Loki Stack, ELK Stack
• Be able to make decisions and influence the product and its architecture
• Optimize and improve the existing infrastructure, observability
• Develop and support products and internal Platform
• Various tasks related to learning new tools, approaches, process automation and infrastructure

What you will achieve in this position:

• Together with the team you will take responsibility for the performance of products and the internal Platform
• You will be able to implement the best practices of the DevOps methodology in a product company
• You will understand in more detail the technologies you work with within the framework of work tasks

For this you will need:

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer (from 2 years)
• 1 year of commercial work experience with AWS (Route53, S3, VPC, ALB/NLB, RDS, EC2)
• 1 year of commercial experience with Terraform
• 1 year of commercial experience with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS, Helm , ArgoCD) will be a plus
• Understanding of the concept of containerization, experience with Docker
• Understanding of the basics of computer networks TCP/IP, DNS, routing
• Experience of writing scripts ( Bash/Python/Golang), full development in Python/Golang will be a significant plus
• Understanding of CI/CD concept, automation and experience with CI/CD systems
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with the version control system (git)

Tvthat manager will be Oleksiy, Head of Platform engineering department. He has been working at AMO for 5 years, started his career in the company as a Junior. A year ago, I passed the AWS Solution Architect certification. Currently, Oleksiy creates and maintains infrastructure for products, including monitoring, CI-CD, backup strategy, process automation, and more. In the role of DevOps Engineer, he sees a person who is ready to take responsibility for the functionality of the product. Also implements the best practices of the DevOps methodology in the company and has a desire to understand the technologies in more detail. He is a specialist who likes to propose improvements to existing processes, architectural solutions and implementations. Could it be you?
