Junior DevOps Engineer in Ornis

About the role

An ideal position for someone who already knows the basics of Linux and cloud technologies and wants to grow in DevOps. You will work alongside Senior DevOps and gradually take on more responsibility.

What to do

• Support and monitor CI/CD pipelines
• Administrate Linux servers and cloud infrastructure
• Write scripts to automate routine tasks
• Work with Docker containers and basic knowledge of Kubernetes
• Participate in system configuration monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Development team support in solving infrastructure issues

Technical stack

• OS: Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS)
• Containers: Docker, basic Kubernetes
• CI/CD: GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Cloud: AWS or GCP (basic level)
• Scripting: Bash, Python
• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Linux - confident working with the command line
• Understanding of network principles (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
• Experience with Docker (at least on pet-projects)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes
• Willingness to learn and dive into new technologies
• Intermediate English - reading documentation

Will be a plus

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Any experience in cloud platforms AWS / GCP / Azure
• Own pet projects or DevOps courses
