Join our vibrant international team of 500 people across 15 different cities worldwide.We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a fintech or banking background. This role involves developing high-performance applications, using domain-driven design, and microservice architectures. Ideal candidates should be proficient in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills, mentorship abilities, and effective collaboration are essential. Additionally, we are on the lookout for individuals who are committed to self-improvement and are not afraid to employ innovative AI tools in their daily work to drive progress.Your key responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-performance services and applications for fintech and banking solutions from scratch;Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs;Implement domain-driven design principles to create a cohesive and scalable architecture;Develop and maintain microservice architectures, ensuring scalability and flexibility of the systems;Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards;Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor developers;Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure the stability and performance of the applications;Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment;Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development and fintech;Contribute to web development efforts, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems;Expect to perform routine daily tasks using ChatGPT or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity.What we're looking for:Experience in the fintech or banking industry;Proficiency in Java SE/EE and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data);Proven experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and implementing complex business logic;Experience in software design and domain modeling;Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API development;Familiarity with Kubernetes (k8s) and Helm;Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;Knowledge of database design and management (PostgreSQL, MariaDB);Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Hibernate or JPA for ORM;Working experience in testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit/TestNG;Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team;Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;Proven ability to mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews; Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.Nice-to-Have:Certification in Java or related technologies;Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks;Familiarity with PHP, Golang, and other backend languages and technologies.What we offer:Skill upgrades from working around professionals;Practice in a dynamic team framework;Competitive salary;Flexible working hours;Fully remote work;The opportunity of pursuing your ideas in an international and fast-growing company;Professional development opportunities;Learning opportunities and the freedom to experiment with AI tools.Salary:3000-5500eur/mon. grossThe salary will depend on your experience.
