Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Melville, New York, it has over 40 years of experience managing crew accommodations and logistics for airlines and other commercial travel clients.We are looking for a Java Engineer (L3) – Incident Management & Bug Fixing to join our team and take ownership of critical application incidents and bug fixes. The client has been developing their platform for over a decade, involving both legacy and microservices architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and resolve critical application issues based on L2 reports.Debug and fix legacy and microservices-based components.Work closely with the support team and engineers to ensure system stability.Optimize application performance and reliability.Maintain high-quality code and documentation.Role OverviewThe client has a complex and large-scale application developed over the years by hundreds of engineers.You will be part of the L3 Support team, responsible for fixing bugs and resolving incidents escalated from L2.The application is highly complex and requires strong problem-solving skills.No backlog or Scrum involvement – the team operates directly from JIRA, handling incidents and bug fixes.Some experience with JS is needed.
