In connection with the expansion and improvement of the platform, we are looking for an energetic and professional Java Developer (Mentor) in the direction of Enterprise.

Requirements for a mentor

Experience and knowledge:

  • 2 years of mentoring or teaching experience.

  • Strong knowledge of technology:

  • Java EE

  • Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Data)

  • REST API

  • Maven

  • < p style="font-weight: normal">PostgreSQL

  • JPA

  • JUnit

  • < p style="font-weight: normal">JDBC

  • Hibernate

Personal qualities:

  • Goodwill and ability to help students.

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple language.

  • Flexibility and approach to people of different skill levels.

    Availability of examples of work, reviews or recommendations from others platforms/companies.

Responsibilities of a mentor

  1. Checking homework of Java Enterprise course students.

  2. Answers to student questions in messengers (Telegram/Discord).

  3. Conducting online sessions with students on Enterprise topics.

  4. Participation in improving the educational process.

Example of interaction with a student

Scenario 1: Analysis of the Enterprise theme in session format

  • Format:Online (Zoom/Google Meet).

  • Content: Prepared structure of the lesson, analysis of the theoretical part, implementation of a practical example (for example, creating a RESTful API using Spring Boot).

  • Purpose: To help the student understand the topic deeper, answer questions, provide recommendations for practice.

Scenario 2: Consultation on an Enterprise topic

  • Format:Online or offline.

  • Contents: Answers to specific student questions, assistance in solving a problem (for example, setting up a database PostgreSQL data for a project, working with Hibernate).

  • Payment:Varies depending on the format ( online/offline).

  • Goal:Solve a specific student problem (engineer), give recommendations for further training.
