Java Developer in Nova Digital

The Ukrainian IT company Nova Digital, which is part of the NOVA group of companies, is a powerful manufacturer of web applications and software for architectures of any complexity and load. We create, maintain and constantly improve software products, the convenience of which has already been appreciated by 32 million private and business clients of New Mail.

We are expanding our team, so we are currently looking for a Java developer.

About you:

• Education: higher education (preferably technical or related)
• experience working with Java from 3 years
• experience of working with foreign and old code, refactoring, support and modernization of already existing systems
• understanding of basic algorithms and data structures, knowledge of OOP
• experience of working with microservice architecture
• experience with SOLID, REST API, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ELK stack, Docker
• skills for testing your own code, as well as knowledge of secure code development practices
< li>experience working with project management systems (Jira, Trello, Asana)

What will you do:

< li>writing quality code according to the architecture and defined project technologies
• analysis and development of functional requirements together with the team and Product owner
• independent code writing, development of product modules and components and responsibility for implementation tasks
• unit testing, integration, release and support of software products
• optimization of legacy code to improve performance and security
• interaction with other teams to ensure interoperability and integration with new solutions and other products
