IT Manager
Responsibilities:
1. User Management and Training:
New Users:
- Collaborate with the Technical Team to secure access to servers and specific folders for new starters.
- Set up new users with appropriate access and permissions within the relevant software.
- Provide initial training to new users, assess ongoing training needs, and report outcomes to management.
- Obtain server access permissions for end users.
- Configure necessary tools and extensions for new employees.
Existing Users:
- Identify and address training needs for current users.
- Develop training materials and organize training sessions. (Note: Acquire necessary training prior to conducting sessions as needed.)
- Monitor user performance and ensure that all users receive adequate training for their roles.
Departing Users:
- Coordinate with the Technical Team to revoke access for departing employees.
- Disable access to relevant software and reassign tasks to other team members as specified.
2. Software Support and Bug Reporting:
- Assist users with any software-related issues.
- Investigate error messages and system bugs, report findings to developers, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Communicate with developers regarding software updates and bug fixes.
- Maintain records of bug resolution progress and provide feedback to users upon resolution.
3. Data Administration:
- Manage access levels for users to projects and companies.
- Execute requests from supervisors for adding or removing tasks within templates.
4. Implementation of Software Updates
- Ensure new software updates are correctly implemented before users access new functionalities.
- Test new modules against the design brief provided to the programming team and report any discrepancies.
- Provide training to users on new functions and monitor data for any issues post-update.
5. Reporting and Briefing
- Prepare and present project reports for weekly meetings.
- Update end-of-tenancy briefs as necessary.
6. Tasks in the Software:
- Create projects, assign permissions to relevant users, and establish appropriate project authorization rules.
- Add new cost and income codes to the system.
- Update the status of invoices in reports.
- Create or suspend project management activities as required.
- Manage payment runs, including deletion or postponement as needed.
- Notify users of corrections for any de-authorized forms.
- Generate training tickets for new employees.
- Assign financial administrators for relevant projects on a monthly basis.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Qualifications or certifications demonstrating proficiency in database management and Excel.
Skills required:
- Experience working with SQL scripts and advanced Excel functionalities.
