Investor Relations Communications Manager in Kyivstar/Kiyivstar

Kyivstar is seeking an Investor Relations Communications Manager to lead the investor relations communications as the company listed at Nasdaq, US stock market. This newly created position will be instrumental in shaping how Kyivstar communicates with investors, analysts, and financial media.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications Leadership

• Develop and execute investor relations communication strategies for international markets in close cooperation with VEON Investor Relations and Corporate Communications teams
• Lead all communications related to Kyivstar's Nasdaq listing process and ongoing public company requirements
• Create and maintain consistent messaging frameworks that align with corporate strategy and market positioning
• Manage crisis communications and sensitive investor-related issues with discretion and professionalism

Content Development & Management

• Write, edit and coordinate the press releases, other communications
• Coordinate timely content-filling for the IR-dedicated website of Kyivstar (in English and Ukrainian)
• Ensure all investor communications comply with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements

Stakeholder Management & Coordination

• Serve as primary communications liaison with VEON Investor Relations and Corporate Communications headquarters for the investor relations communications
• Coordinate closely with US-based IR&PR agency to ensure consistent messaging
• Build and maintain relationships with financial journalists and industry influencers

Media Relations & Public Affairs, Reporting

• Manage relationships with Ukrainian and international financial media
• Event management
• Monitor media coverage and market sentiment
• Prepare regular reports on media coverage, analyst opinions, and market perception
• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes affecting investor communications

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in communications, International Relations, Business, Journalism, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in PR
• Experience working with international teams and cross-cultural communication
• Excellent writing and editing skills 

Language Requirements

• Native Ukrainian, fluent English

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Kyivstar Corporate Relations and Communications Director and works closely with the CFO, Finance and Legal teams, and VEON headquarters' Corporate Communications and Investor Relations teams.

General Position Information

Kyivstar is looking for an experienced Investor Relations Communications Manager to lead communications with investors, as Kyivstar entered Nasdaq, the US stock market. This is a newly created position that will be key in shaping the company's image among investors, analysts and financial media.

Main Responsibilities

Communication Leadership

• Development and implementation of strategies for communications with investors in international markets in close cooperation with the VEON Investor Relations and Corporate Communications teams.
• Managing all communications, related to Kyivstar's Nasdaq listing process and subsequent requirements for public companies.
• Creation and maintenance of coherent messages and communications that are consistent with corporate strategy and market positioning.
• Management of crisis communications and sensitive issues related to investors with maximum professionalism and confidentiality.

Development and management content

• Preparation, editing and coordination of press releases and other investor communications.
• Ensuring timely content of the website for Kyivstar investors (in English and Ukrainian languages).
• Compliance with SEC rules and information disclosure requirements.

Stakeholder management and coordination

• Primary investor communications contact to interact with VEON Investor Relations and Corporate Communications head offices.
• Coordinating closely with the US IR&PR agency to ensure consistency of messaging.
• Building and maintaining relationships with financial journalists and key industry stakeholders.

Media relations and reporting

• Interaction with Ukrainian and international financial media.
• Organization of events, briefings and events for investors.
• Monitoring of media coverage and market sentiment.
• Preparation of regular reports on the results of media mentions, analytical assessments and market perception.
• Tracking of changes in regulatory requirements regarding investor communications.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in communications, international relations, business, journalism or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in PR.
• Experience working with international teams and in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent writing skills and editing.

Language requirements

• Native Ukrainian, fluent in English.
