organizational development work on collecting and analyzing the results of the Development program of the Ukrainian Red Cross, systematizing the collected data and providing reporting to partners (in English). The specialist will work with the support of the Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

Responsibilities:

< ul>
  • Participation in the planning of the department's activities and its regular (quarterly, half-yearly, annual) analysis;
  • Monthly planning of tasks and assessment of the performance of the previous month's tasks;
  • Organization of work in Microsoft 365 (daily planning, tracking of tasks, reporting);
  • Maintenance of document databases on organizational development and volunteer management;
  • Collection, preparation and generation of reports on projects and programs, to partners , general and annual regarding organizational development and capacity building;
  • Collection of monthly, quarterly, annual reports to track the dynamics of the activities of local organizations (hereinafter MO) (filling out the Profile) within the framework of organizational development and volunteer management programs;
  • Organization and conducting (as a facilitator) events for self-assessment of organizational potential for the MO according to planning;
  • Assistance in planning planning in the Ministry of Defense and tracking its implementation within the framework of programs for organizational development and volunteer management;
  • Organization, advisory and methodological support for conducting a needs assessment according to the Template in the Ministry of Defense in within the framework of organizational development and volunteer management programs;
  • Remote support of MOs according to their requests, referral to relevant specialists within the framework of organizational development and volunteer management programs;
  • Conducting monitoring visits to MOs in within the framework of organizational development programs and volunteeringof management and according to management orders;
  • Participation in the organization and holding of national and regional events, forums on organizational development and volunteer management;
  • Organization of regular online meetings for MO within the framework of organizational development programs development and volunteer management;
  • Organization and holding of thematic, informational events, sessions and trainings for various profiles (such as KBBD (SAF), volunteer management, introductory course, etc.) according to planning and requests;
  • Integration and adaptation of MO development tools taking into account the approaches of KBDB (SAF); 
  • Sending thematic letters by e-mail to the Ministry of Defense;
  • Promoting the use of methodological tools for organizational development, volunteer management and resource mobilization among the Ministry of Defense;
  • Mentoring and comprehensive support of specialists on the development of organizations and volunteerism and youth at the local and regional levels;
  • Ensuring high-quality and timely maintenance of registers of permanent and spontaneous volunteers, accounting volunteer hours, other documentation related to the administration of the work of volunteers by specialists in the development of organizations and volunteering and youth;
  • Collection and analysis of interim and final reports on organizational development and volunteer management from specialists in the development of organizations and volunteerism and youth and/or volunteer leaders, heads of local organizations.
  • Ensuring the implementation of the principles of care for caregivers and self-care in all areas of the organization's volunteer activities, ensures the organization's system of care for caregivers and self-care training for the organization's team.
  • Additional duties:

    • Participation in the development of policies and strategies of the Society;
    • Participation in national or regional volunteer events;
    • Execution of the management's instructions regarding the organizational development of the TCHU;
    • Execution of the duties of the head of the department during his absence.

    Requirements : 

    • Higher education will be an advantage,
    • Experience of working in the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, non-profit organizations in the social sphere or state institutions and organizations in social sphere will be an advantage.

    Mandatory requirements:

    • Ability to adapt to changes
    • Use Microsoft tools and programs
    • Writing narrative/descriptive reports
    • Proficiency in English and Ukrainian languages
