We are looking for an engineer, what? connects vision and control - builds systems where visual data becomes input for platform management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the entire pipeline from the camera to the controller works quickly, stably and on limited resources. Everything in C++, everything on the edge.
What will you do:
- Develop and optimize real-time video pipelines on GStreamer - capture, decoding, preprocessing, streaming
- Build a connection between the vision system and the control loop of the platform - so that visual data correctly and quickly enters the management
- Optimize the performance of the entire pipeline - latency, throughput, memory on edge devices with limited resources
- Write high performance? C++ code for working with video and low-level system components
- Integrate ML-models into the video stream via GStreamer plugins and custom elements
- Work directly with embedded platforms and sensors - Jetson, Raspberry Pi, cameras, edge compute modules
- Debugging and profiling systems under operational constraints - finding bottlenecks and eliminating them and?x
Technical skills:
Required:
- C++ (C++17) - confident code writing, understanding of memory, streams, pointers, basic multithreading
- GStreamer - understanding of pipeline architecture, experience building pipelines (gst-launch, ideally - C/Python bindings)
- Understanding of video codecs and protocols - H.264/H.265, RTSP, V4L2
- Linux - confident work in the terminal, system utilities, SSH
- Python - scripting, testing, working with OpenCV / NumPy
Will be a plus:
- Optimization experience? performance - profiling (perf, Nsight, Valgrind), memory management
- TensorRT / ONNX Runtime - deployments? models? on the edge
- Edge-AI platforms - Jetson (DeepStream), Hailo, Coral
- ROS / ROS2
- Experience with cameras and sensors - MIPI CSI, USB, GigE Vision
- Docker / CI/CD
