Internal controls manager in Kyivstar/Kiyivstar

The Kyivstar Internal controls team is looking for a colleague who will provide a full cycle of controls and risk management of the company.

The role includes:
1. Conducting analysis of business processes for the purpose of implementing key internal controls. 
2. 3 ensuring the spread of the internal control system to key indicators of financial reporting, the implementation of the Company's internal documents and legal requirements, compliance:
- Analysis of compliance of existing controls with risk coverage and initiating the implementation of controls to cover risks. 
-Ensuring approval of internal control designs with control owners and keeping the Company's internal control matrix up-to-date. 
3. Development of a plan for testing internal controls according to the methodology. 
4. Testing the effectiveness of internal controls and using these results to optimize the internal control system. 
5. Analysis of control testing results and participation in the development of measures to correct inefficiencies for control owners6. Analysis of identified inefficiencies for the potential impact on misstatement of financial statements. 
6. Ensuring the process of providing information and implementing external/internal audit recommendations based on the results of the audit for the reporting year. 
7. Preparation and approval of information on the effectiveness of internal controls by the head of the Group's risk management and internal control unit.

Expectations of the candidate's experience:
1.       Higher  economic/financial. Preferably: ACCA, CFA and other international financial certifications.
2.       At least 4 years of work experience in the field of internal controls, risk management or auditing. Preferred: Big10 experience. 
3.       Knowledge of COSO, IFRS, SOX requirements, business and analytical thinking, negotiation, presentation and relationship building skills.  
4.       Ability to work independently or experience managing projects independently will be an advantage. 
5.       PC: proficient user of Internet, Microsoft Outlook, MS Visio, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Word. Desirable: understanding of the specifics of the functioning of ERP systems.  
6.       English - full proficiency.
