Innovations projects coordinator in JDC Ukraine, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee

"Joint" is an international Jewish charitable organization that has been helping people in more than 70 countries of the world for more than 100 years. p>

We support the Jewish population, help people who are in danger or in difficult life circumstances, provide humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters and catastrophes, and also support a number of various social projects aimed at the comprehensive development of members of the Jewish community of various age categories.

 General duties:

General coordination of innovative social and community projects in all regions of Ukraine

• planning, professional support and control program activities for the implementation of innovative projects;
• planning of budgets intended for the implementation of innovative projects;
• support for the implementation of innovative projects in charitable organizations financed by the "Joint": defining tasks, conducting project presentations , preparation and conducting of surveys, analysis of needs and results;
• participation in the planning and training process of employees of organizations in which projects are implemented;
• analysis of the effectiveness of project implementation and assessment of risks and development prospects;
• monitoring of new approaches in the field of social innovations, initiation and development of new projects
• preparation of analytical and financial reports in the process of project implementation (incl. in English);
• assistance in the preparation of PR reports and materials for the promotion of projects (including in English);

Desired profile and skills:

• higher education;
• work experience (at least 2 years) in the field of project management (preferably in the social sphere/non-profit organizations);

• the level of English is not lower than Upper Intermediate
• knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions will be an advantage;
• knowledge in the field of innovation and social work (optional, but desirable) ;
• readiness for business trips;
• personal qualities: team management and motivation skills, management of organizational processes (including remote management), multitasking skills, developed communication skills, ability to learn quickly new;

Required qualifications and skills:
