YOUR ROLEAs a Data Scientist in our R&D team, during your rotation you will work with product developers and application engineers to understand various technologies, data collection processes and challenges driving digital transformation within R&D. Design and execute data analysis projects to identify trends and patterns in formulation data sets identify, build and implement machine learning models to predict performance, stability and quality of formulations Work closely with R&D colleagues to translate data insights into new formulations, product development decisions and application processes and optimize R&D processes Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards, to communicate data insights to stakeholdersUse your digital expertise to improve understanding of digital tools and data-based decision making within R&DSupport the digital transformation of R&D by implementing data-driven workflows for process development and knowledge management YOUR COMPETENCES You have a master's or doctorate in one You have completed or are about to complete a data science area, e.g. B. in data science, physics, mathematics, statistics or a similar field that excites you and awakens your passion for innovation for a sustainable future. You have a genuine interest in R&D and different technologies and are willing to learn different technologies and product development processes to understandYou have experience in data analysis and modeling, preferably in a scientific or technical environment, and have a solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms (e.g. regression, classification)You are proficient in data analysis tools (e.g . Python, R) and experimental design tools such as Minitab and JMP. You have experience with data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau and ideally also with more advanced platforms. Ideally you have knowledge or experience in fAdvanced technologies such as IoT, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with customer satisfaction is important to you.
