Information expert in Karitas Ukrayini, Mizhnarodniy Blagodiyniy Fond

IFB "Caritas of Ukraine" is looking for a specialist for the position of Information expert. The information expert will perform an information and analytical function at the institutional level in the direction of the development of external relations. The main task of this position is to ensure the relevance, organization and availability of information that is used for public and internal communications and for making management decisions.

Main responsibilities:

1. Information and communication support of the top management of the National Caritas Office of Ukraine

Main tasks:

• Providing an informational and analytical basis for quality communication of key representatives of Caritas of Ukraine with the public, in particular through mass media, and organizations:
• Compilation of texts, speeches, statements, releases, presentations, reports ensuring consistency and accuracy in accordance with the organization's mission, communications strategy and key messages
• Visualization of information using graphs, charts, tables
• Participation in the creation of communication products to develop relationships with key stakeholders in the direction of external relations
• Creation and maintenance of a unified information and analytical system of the National Caritas Office of Ukraine
• Determination of needs and creation of the concept of such a system
• Internal coordination for determination of methods of optimal data acquisition
• Analysis and organization of information and data (internal, external)
• Training of personnel to use information and data
• Participation in the preparation of materials on general activities organization for information channels of Caritas of Ukraine
• Analytics and research
• Research, analysis of information from various sources (state authorities, NGOs, donors, UN system, Caritas network)
• li>Working with external data to identify trends and trends
• Participating in research initiated by the external relations department to study the needs of key stakeholders
• Participating in the development of the strategy of the external relations department
• Promoting the organizational culture of using information and data

1. Information exchange with partners

Main tasks:

•  In cooperation with the regional representative of Caritas Norway, ensure the creation of effective and professional media content about activities funded by Norway for donors and relevant mass media partners of Caritas Norway.  Coordinate the process of developing this content with project managers, communicators, and data project coordinators.
• Act as a contact person for the consultant/consulting firm to which the report on the work of Caritas Norway will be prepared:
• Coordination with local by Caritas organizations to distribute the questionnaire
• Inform local organizations about the scope and logic of the study and ensure that local organizations understand the needs of the consultant
• Contribute to the work of the consultant

Requirements:

• Higher education (Journalism, Humanities, Political Science);
• 2 years of work experiencein similar or related positions;
• Experience in international or public organizations;
• High level of oral and written communication skills;
• Considerable experience public speeches and presentations;
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English at the Advanced level;
• Ability to write texts based on collected information;
• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies;
• Experience of cooperation with the media and a network of contacts in the media will be an advantage.
• Readiness for business trips in Ukraine and abroad

Required professional skills:

• Ability to work independently and cooperate with others;
• Ability to communicate effectively and be able to highlight key points in information for dissemination;
• Able to prioritize work with attention to detail
• Time management and attention to deadlines;
• Able to work in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. .d.) and basic design programs.
