Job Profile SummaryThe Strategic HR Business Partner (SHRBP) at SoftServe is a senior leader and trusted advisor who collaborates closely with business unit leaders and their leadership team to champion and implement impactful People strategies that accelerate business growth and talent development. This role requires an understanding of SoftServe's business goals, industry trends, global labor dynamics/labor regulations and competitive landscape, coupled with the ability to translate business needs into effective people strategies. The SHRBP will act as a mini-CPO for the BU he/she supports, being a change agent, championing Leaders and Talent development, driving innovation and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture within the business unit.Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic partnership & consultationDevelop strong relationships with C-suite Exec and his Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner on all people-related mattersProactively engage with business leaders to understand their strategic priorities, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into impactful and global BU-aligned People strategiesProvide expert counsel and coaching on HR policies, processes, and best practices, ensuring alignment with SoftServe's overall People strategyPartner with Global CoEs to adopt and tailor central strategies to the requirements of the individual Business Units (Leadership Development, Total Rewards, Talent Experience, SSU, etc.)Talent strategy & planningLead the development and implementation of talent strategies that support the business unit's short-term and long-term goals, ensuring alignment with the company's overall talent strategyConduct workforce planning and analysis to identify talent needs and gaps, proactively addressing potential talent risks and opportunitiesOversee top talent (especially at Senior Management level) acquisition, performance management, talent development, and succession planning initiatives within the business unit, ensuring effective execution and alignment with business objectivesOrganizational development & change managementDrive organizational change initiatives, acting as a change agent to facilitate smooth transitions, address employee concerns, and promote buy-in among stakeholdersFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging experimentation and learning within the business unitChampion engagement and inclusion initiatives, ensuring an engaging, dynamic and fair work environment for all employeesLeadership & team managementLead and mentor a team of HR Business Partners, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to foster their growth and effectivenessFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, open communication, and mutual supportThrough partnership with Geo People Leaders, ensure alignment and consistency in HR service delivery across the business unit and in countries, promoting best practices and knowledge sharingData & analyticsLeverage data and analytics to inform talent decisions, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and identify trends and opportunities for improvementDevelop and track key HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to business leaders to support data-driven decision-makingOtherContribute to the proper implementation of SoftServe's cultural reactivation initiatives, in the BU ensuring alignment with the company's overall direction and prioritiesRepresent SoftServe in external HR forums and events, promoting the company's employer brand and thought leadership in the HR spaceStay current on HR trends and best practices, learning and adapting to the evolving HR landscapePreferred Competencies & Experience15+ years of progressive experience in HR with at least 5 years in strategic leadership roles at global or multi-regional level, preferably in the IT industry and large multinational companies, with a proven track record of driving People strategies and getting business outcomes through their effective implementationStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect HR initiatives to business goals and demonstrate the value of HR to the organizationExcellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levelsIn-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, with a strong understanding of global and regional HR trends and best practicesProven ability to lead and manage change, with experience in facilitating organizational transformations and navigating complex HR challengesRequired SkillsBusiness acumen: deep understanding of SoftServe's business goals, industry trends, and competitive landscapeCommunication & interpersonal skills: excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levelsTalent management: expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and succession planningEmployee relations: ability to address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and conduct investigationsChange management: guide and support individuals and teams through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitionsAnalytical & problem-solving skills: analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to address challengesCollaboration & teamwork: effectively collaborate with HR colleagues, business leaders, and other stakeholdersConsultation & coaching: provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related mattersSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect reports: 3-4 HR Senior Business PartnersQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
