As an HR Generalist, you will support the company's activities in Ukraine in close cooperation with the European HR team. As an HR Generalist, you will support the company's activities in Ukraine in close cooperation with the European HR team. Our team is growing, and you will be responsible for providing HR support for two legal entities - a medical center (MCOP Ukraine) and a commercial organization. 

You will report to the Head of the Medical Center (directly) and work closely with regional and global HR stakeholders. 

The position is based in Kyiv and involves full-time employment with office work. 

maintaining up-to-date employee data in the HR system (Workday)

  • Full support of the employee life cycle: from registration to termination of employment, including the preparation of personnel documentation, orders and changes to employment contracts

  • Ensuring proper management of personnel records and personal files in accordance with legal requirements

  • Coordinating payroll processes together with accounting or external providers, ensuring the correctness of data (vacation, sick leave, bonuses, etc.)

  • Acting as a contact person for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and daily HR issues

  • font-style: normal">Participation in the administration of compensation and benefits (including health insurance and other local programs)

  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, reporting and maintaining mandatory registers (including military records, if necessary)  

  • Participation in local and global HR projects, including the implementation of HR systems and processes

  • Preparation of reports, analysis of HR data and support of business and global teams with analytics

  • Participation in the improvement of HR processes taking into account local specifics

  • Our ideal candidate 

    • Has at least 4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on personnel administration in Ukraine

    • Has a higher education in the field of HR, management or related areas  

    • Well versed in the labor legislation of Ukraine and personnel records

    • Has experience interacting with accounting or payroll providers

    • Speaks English at a level sufficient to interact with international teams

    • Has a proactive, solution-oriented approach and attention to detail  

    • Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-changing environment

    • Has developed communication skills and knows how to build trusting relationships

    • Proficient in MS Office and digitally literate

    • Experience with Workday or other HRIS would be an advantage
