Job Description:

DEKOM Ukraine, a part of a global international company, is looking for an Home Automation Engineer  to work with our clients across the globe. As a Home Automation Engineer you’ll be responsible for the  design, implementation, and maintaining systems that automate and control home environments, including lighting, shades, security, climate, sound and entertainment systems. This role involves integrating various technologies to create smart home solutions that enhance comfort, security, and energy efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop home automation systems, including smart lighting, shades, security, climate control, sound, and entertainment systems.

• Install and configure home automation hardware and software components.

• Integrate various smart devices and systems into a cohesive home automation solution.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to home automation systems.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customized automation solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in home automation.

• Provide technical support and training to clients on using home automation systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience and certification in Crestron Home and Lutron systems.

• Proven experience with home automation technologies and systems (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, IoT).

• Strong understanding of network configurations, security protocols, and smart device integration.

• Knowledge of Savant, Control4, Elan, and RTI is a plus.

• Proficiency in programming languages used for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with clients.

• Good communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
