Health Specialist
Position Description
The position involves supporting the Health Coordinator and the country team in the coordination and implementation of health care activities in Ukraine. To successfully perform this job, the employee must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Response to humanitarian emergency situations in the field of health care under the direction of the immediate supervisor.

Assisting in the creation and launch of mobile medical teams.
Support in the identification of medical personnel for the project area.
Development of plans for the distribution of medical supplies for various health care facilities.
Support of the health care team health and composition in the formation of medical kits for distribution.
Monitoring and supervision of hospitals and primary care facilities through visits (provided the situation is safe) and informing the manager about the results.
Assisting in training of medical personnel in order to improve their qualifications and effectively use their skills.
Supporting the manager in planning, development and implementation of projects.
Assisting in the preparation of timely reports on projects andand related medical data.
Support the department in preparing monthly drug consumption reports from field locations.
Work closely with IMC medical staff to achieve goals and indicators project.
Adherence to the IMC Code of Conduct and generally accepted humanitarian principles.
Adherence to all IMC policies and procedures, including obtaining security clearances prior to travel.
Regular visits to project sites (each medical facility must be visited at least twice a month).
