BO "Hope and housing for children" invites to its team the Head of the Support Service for Family Forms of Education (in within the framework of the project "Protection of children/Alternative care" in accordance with the Partnership Agreement - a grant with Save the Children International).

Functional duties:

  • Develops a draft regulation on the Service, the procedure for providing services, registration forms for service recipients, functional responsibilities of the Service team;
  • Forms the Service team;
  • Coordinates the work of the Service team;
  • Carries out planning, ensures the implementation of plans, organizes monitoring and evaluation of results;
  • Makes plans and work schedules of specialists/specialists of the Service;
  • Establishes interaction with representatives of government bodies (SSDS, TSS/CNSP/FSR, which work in territorial communities);
  • Studies requests from community representatives, children, parents for help from Service specialists and keeps records of requests;
  • Ensures team discussion and planning of actions to provide assistance to a child or family in accordance with requests;
  • Organizes the process of providing services by specialists of the service and monitors the provision of services and assistance to children and parents;
  • If necessary, organizes the involvement of narrowly specialized specialists for the purpose of providing services to foster children and consultations to adoptive parents on solving the most complex issues of health, development and behavior of children, etc.;
  • Organizes and ensures emergency visits of Service specialists;
  • Sets tasks for the Service team in accordance with project goals and monitors their implementation;
  • Ensures the maintenance of a database of project beneficiaries;
  • Ensures the maintenance of documentation, accounting of the work of specialists and specialists of the Service;
  • Ensures the preparation of reports, social stories, reviews, photos, etc.; of the Service, making suggestions to the abdeit for the week (about the main successes, peculiarities of the work of the Service's specialists);
  • Analyzes the results of the Service's work and provides suggestions for improving the efficiency of its work;
  • Undertakes training and supervision within the framework of the project;
  • Ensures the preparation and holding of working meetings, presentations, organization of business trips of specialists/specialists of the Service and their support;
  • Provides consultations on issues of the development of family forms of education, placement of children who left without parents;
  • Prepares presentations of results, provides monitoring and analytics of the Service's key indicators;
  • Ensures the preparation of an analytical report based on the results of the Service's work as a pilot model. Summarizes work results (request analysis, work features, results, etc.);
  • Ensures compliance with BO Policies by the Service team.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Higher education;
  • High level of awareness of legislation in the field of child protection;
  • Experience in team management and project implementation;
  • Experience in the fieldsand social work, in particular, experience of working with family forms of education is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of the peculiarities of working with orphans, children deprived of parental care;
  • Experience of working with families, who were taken to raise children;
  • Excellent written and spoken command of the Ukrainian language.
